OK i am trying to telnet to a WebRanger II through a Actiontec DSL modem. I have port forwarding enabled on the Actiontec DSL modem to the webranger's IP address for TCP and UDP on port 23. I have Telnet enable for the webranger. I can telnet to the webranger from within my network, but if i am outside my network i can't seem to telnet in. Any ideas on what i am doing wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated

does your DSL router have management from the internet enabled? if so, try changing the port that the router uses for telnet managment (or turn off management from the internet)
