telnet using crypted password between sun boxes.

I would like to telnet from one box to another box using encrypted passwords. The crypted password is being pulled from a DB.

I cannot figure out how the target box can understand the crypted passwd. SSH is not an option at this time unfortunately.
 
Can it be put into radius or ldap ? Then you can use those pam modules to authenticate.
 
nethier of those options exist at the client end.
 
Can you clarify? When you say "crypted password" do you mean you only have the crypt text that normally is contained in the passwd/shadow file?
 
the passwords are stored in the DB are crypted using MD5; so when I attin the passwd string it's encrypted.

I know the original password as well, but I can't hardcode that inside the script. The ohter option I'm looking at is to convert the shell script into a binary executable.
