We have had this CS1K for many years. There have been many instances when electricity went off. However yesterday after an electricity outage, i am now not able to login. What i usually do is telnet to the address. place in my user id and password. then cslogin and password. THen i would be on the PBX. I would use login admin1 and password to make any configuration. Now since yesterday when trying to telnet i am prompted for my user id and password. After putting in this password i am presented with the following which i am not use to seeing.
I must note that we have a signaling server (gatekeeper). Thank you for any help given.

Login: admin1

I do not think that is the case, i have tried a few other ip address however none works.

What I did not add was that extension dialing to different PBX stop working also. I hope that this can shed some light on the issue. Note also that i can ping the PBX from the remote site and locally.

How are the 2 PBX's connected? What type of trunking? The response you are getting when trying to login is not the response you should be getting from a CoRes machine, it should be a linux type response not a media card type response. That is why I thought you may have the wrong IP address.

the details of the PBX i do not know. add/moves/changes is what i am really responsible for. However i see where you are comming from with the messages. I will contact a CS1 tech and have him work out this kink.

Thanks alot.

Looks like you have been telnetingto the Node address, the Sis Sever has a problem and the SMC is now the TPS Node leader hence you end up there. You could just rlogin direct to the Callserver ELAN IP or double check the IP Address for the SS.

This of course could be confirmed if you have an "L" on the LED display of the media card instead of an "F
