telnet sound

How do you turn the telnet sound off. Every time I edit something in my Telnet window it puts out a bell sound. I have tried turning off my Sounds in the Control Panel, but it still makes a bell sound in Telnet.

Any suggestions??

Try different terminal emulation settings. Sounds like a configuration problem of the Telnet Client.

I tried both the emulation settings, but still get the beep sound.
