My company connects to a application that is run on AIX 4.3
We connect over a WAN.
The "Vendors" that own the AIX 4.3 server applied "patches" to the AIX and the application a couple of weeks ago.
From the time they applied these Patches all of our telnet clients which attach to this server and application "time out" or "disconnect" in exactly 1 Hour when the telnet session is left idle.
If our users are working in the application the session will not disconnect.
The vendors are trying to blame network performance. Nothing has changed in the network.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any settings in AIX that the administrator of a system could set to time out or disconnect "idle" telnet sessions.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
