Hi,

I am new to the LINUX world. I have a problem with a LINUX Telent server.

The Telnet server is having Dual IPs,
1.107.108.x.x (LAN IP)
2. 97.1.1.x (IP ADDRESS for accessing devices)

LAN----TELNET SERVER----HUB----NETWORK DEVICES

All my network devices are in the 97.1.1.0 network.

I login using the LAN IP and then access 97.1.1.0 network.

But now I am not able to access the network devices.
But, I can ping the Telnet server Ip when I login to the
telnet server. All the interfaces of my devices are up and I can ping those successfully. Only issue is I cant ping any device from telnet server and vice versa.

Please help.

What is the output of ifconfig -a on the telnet server?

Is the ethtool command available? If so try running it against the 97.1.1.x network interface to see if it thinks the link is up or not.

Annihilannic.
