Telnet Security in Win2K

Hi. I just installed Win2K Server and when I telnet
into it, I don't get a login prompt. Could somebody
please advise me on how to set it up (it isn't as
obvious as I hoped it would be).

I'm no win2k xpert but don't you have to enable the service and port via the network setup before that will work?

well, i turned the service on already and can
telnet into the machine without any problems.
my problem is that i want the machine to ask
me for a userid and pwd and i am not sure how to
setup telnet/machine security.

I'll look around under network setup to see if i
missed something.
