I have 3 remote locations running Win 2000 pc's with Term Vision emulation software that need to connect to my SCO OpenServer 5.0.4 server through the internet. I also need to send print jobs back to the remotes via tcp/ip to a printer server. I am completely lost on this one. It seems as though I need to set up a multiple hop static routing table but I can't seem to get it right. I can get the requests out through the router but I can't seem to get them to the other end (in either direction).

Thanks in advance,

Dan Mecier

Here is what I did.

Rather than put my whole macine on the internet, I set up a proxy on my DSL router. Basically I am forwarding requests received on port 23 (IP address of my Internet Router) to the internal IP address on the SCO BOX. This also implies that I am running NAT on the router.

This allows me to telnet from the internet to SCO box.

No other ports can be comprimised from the internet.

Question:

How is your SCO box connected to the internet ?
