Telnet Daemon

I'm unable to telnet into an aix server. The telnet daemon I found is not running. I attempted to start it using
/usr/sbin/telnetd but I'm receiving an error(the specified file descriptor is not a socket). Would be great if someone can provide some insight. Thanks.

Got it I need to run startsrc -s inetd. Thanks!
