Hello,

I was wondering if there was a telnet command to clear out the SDS distribution error logs on a Mitel 3300 running MCD 6.0? I know there is a command for clearing maintenance and software logs(logs purge maint all), so I was hoping there was a similar command for SDS. I know it can be achieved from the web interface, but I would prefer to clear them from telnet. Thanks in advance if you can help!!

I can only say that its very unlikely
Its my understanding that there are no console based commands that are supported anymore by mitel( unless they are entering them)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

There is a way to clear them but not via a telnet command.

You will need to connect to the controller via and FTP client like Filezilla Client.

Browse to the directory /db/database/files delete the following 3 files and reboot:

distpayl.db
dsttrnlog.db
dstupdat.db

This will clear all the SDS error logs from the controller.
