tell when a print job is finished

I am printing a Crystal report8.0 report to an Acrobat Distiller printer and it generates a file "Report1.ps"

I have to do a filecopy to copy it into another folder
I get an error saying "Permission deniied"

I figured the problem was that if the printer is still printing, I wioll not have access to that file

SO I want to know if there is a way of telling when a print job is over so I can do the file copy then
