Hi Guys,

Hope you can help, i have installed a Teleworker solution with the lastest software on the MAS, Teleworker and 3300 systems.

The Teleworker is configured as a server/Gateway and is connected to a dedicated broadband modem (D-Link 320T)I have configured the Teleworker and Modem as per Mitels documents.

The problem I'm having is losing connectivity, for example i get the Teleworker talking to the internet and i get the remote handsets connected to the teleworker - so all seems to work just how you would expect.

Then all of a sudden i will just lose the connection, this can take 1, 2, 3, 4 days - the longest i have had it up and running is 5 days. i then attend site plug me laptop into the modem and i get internet connection - I then reset the Teleworker and plug back in, I then get reconnected and i can start using the phones again.

I have installed loads of these now and I have never had these issues before..!!

Any help would be fantastic, thanks in advance?

Probably and ISP, or DSL Modem or DSL Router issue. I would start there.

It is probably an authentication issue with your dsl, is the MAS doing the PPoE?

Doubtful that it is a PPPoE authentication issue as they are connecting.

Looks like i have discovered what the issue is - i was using a D-Link 320T modem, and i have changed this to a D-Link 300T, Apparently Mitel say the have had issues with the 320.

I have had it up and working for a week now and it seems to be working ok.

TheMitelGuy - Looks like you pointed me in the right direction, thank you..!!

No Problem.

D-Link makes very good stuff. I know here in Canada they are not highly-regarded by IT guys, but man-a-live you plug it in, enter 3-5 values, and wow, it just works. Never dies. I really like D-Link.
