Hi All,

Setting up a teleworker in a server/gateway config.

I am setting up a telewprker solution and have a little problem.

I am using VLAN's and have resided the teleworker solution in the voice VLAN for obviuos reasons, However i am unable to access the teleworker server from the data vlan I can only assume this is due to the fact that the default gateway is for your external address I.E the router. There appears to be no way of setting up a default gateway for the internal network.

Can anyone advice a way that i can access the server other than putting my pc on to the same voice vlan?

thank you all in advance

Ian

Well, if you are using DHCP for your sets you should be able to get to the 6010 from your data network as your sets boot by default to the data vlan then switch over to the voice vlan. You also need to set up in the 6010 under local networks the subnet of the data vlan using the voice vlan gateway as the router. For example if your data vlan is 192.168.20.0 and voice vlan is 192.168.1.0 with gateway of .1, in the local networks tab put in the subnet of 192.168.20.0 with subnet and under router put 192.168.1.1.

That should do the trick.
