We have a Cisco ASA5505 at someones house configured using Easy VPN to communicate with a Cisco Pix 515e in our site. We setup static ip on a Mitel 5224 telephone and it boots up and gets dial tone fine to our 3300. But we have an issue with one way audio, I can hear people talking to me when im using the 5224 phone, but they can't hear me.

Anyone have a similiar setup configured and it works?

thanks

Routing problem
The traffic from the mitel is good so you must search at the phone side

Probably the gaetway is not setup right and the phone does not where to route it too
But this could also be your vpn router !

This will be a routing issue in your gateways.

I have two sites:

Site 1 - 192.168.51.2 = 3300
Site 2 - 192.168.50.2 = 3300

All of our inbound calls come into Site 1. The ASA5505 at my house has gateway setup as 192.168.58.1 the ip phone has a static of 192.168.58.4 and connects to a public IP which connects to our Pix515e which has Easy VPN configured at Site 2.

I can ping 192.168.51.2 and 192.168.50.2 fine from the ip phone. I captured packets of the IP phone communicating with our 3300's and:

Cell Phone calls IP Phone 192.168.58.4 - > 192.168.51.21
IP Phone calls Cell 192.168.58.4 -> 192.168.50.20

The E2T Card on 192.168.50.2 is 192.168.50.20 & the E2T Card on 192.168.51.2 is 192.168.51.21

Any additional help on this would be great.. Im just not to familiar with the call flow.

The remote Phone Has a Static Address
The remote phone connects via a public IP
Remote Phone Packets arrive at Site 2 Via Public IP
Remote Phone Packets Route to Site 2 controller

So Far So Good

Now
Site 2 Replies to Public IP Address of remote phone
Site 2 gateway routes packet to internet (Not VPN)
Packets are lost

Symptom - Remote phone can be heard at site 2 but Site 2 cannot be heard at remote phone.
