Can someone please help me setup the teleworker solution? I desperately need help. I have the ISO image and when i burn it on the disc and put it in the computer it won't boot up. If anyone knows how to help me ASAP or can give me the correct file I will put $10 in a paypal account. I have the 6.1 release MAS 6000 file and it won't load i don't know if i'm burning it wrong or what.

you need to change the file format ie: the boot image, can't remember exactly.

Try burning the file as either a ISO Image or easy cd creator.

i figured out the problem i was trying to load MAS 6.1 before i loaded 6.0 which is the OS as well. So I have everything up and running behind a linksys router with the DMZ turned on for that IP address so that means I shouldn't have to forward any ports right? well its obviously connected to the internet and ICP because i tested the phone on the network with the WAN IP and it worked. Also it downloaded and installed the teleworker blade but when i took the phone home to try it out it was connecting to the ICP but when it was doing the flash it stops at 210 and says checksum err then says main unavailable then reboots etc. I have sx200icp with 5220d anyone out there know what that error means?

Is it a true DMZ? or is it a software emulated one? The teleworker will only work in a true dedicated DMZ in server only mode.

Yea i'm pretty sure the DMZ is working because when i tried the phone before i turned that on it wouldn't even download the flash from the ICP and said main unavailable at least now its downloading the flash. I'm running MAS 6.0 and tele 3.2xxxx something which is what it installed automatically. so is that the right software?

sorry software is 3.1 something

A checksum error means the IP phone has not properly downloaded the firmware. The phone checks the firmware download before applying, this ensures the phone is safe to load it. Corrupted firmware would break the phone to the point where it would not work any longer (without sending it back to Beconridge).

Can you MAS connect to Mitel? Is it syncing every hour?

Matt85, where is your dealer in all of this?

my dealer is doesn't have a clue and doesn't take any courses and unfortunately is the only dealer in jacksonville. i offered to take the courses online if he would send me the link. yes the system is syncing every hour with mitel and the phones firmware can't be corrupt because it works on the local network with teleworker enabled and another phone does the same thing so it can't be that. I don't understand how it could be the DMZ when the phone starts downloading the firmware because when i change the teleworker gateway on the phone to something random it doesn't connect at all. All my dealer is good for is ordering the products and calling tech support. Tech support from sprint sucks by the way. I am the one who installed everything from the MAS to activating servicelink to installing the blade without any prior knowledge.

also when i use the console server to test the internet conection it is successful and when i run the ICP test it is successful as well. but maybe the linksys router DMZ is not compatible you think?

Matt,

Because of my employer, I can not give out my e-mail address on this board. Can you provide me some way of e-mailing you?

Thanks

When a IP phone goes to download the firmware it does the following:

After getting inital DHCP info,
1) Connects to the ICP (MAS or direct/LAN)
2) Downloads the firmware
3) Checks the firmware CHECKSUM, if it matches it goes to step 4, if it doesn't it gives you a CHECKSUM error.
4) Copies new firmware to the flash (you see "Don't power down!"
5) Firmware is loaded
6) IP set gets DHCP info again
7) Connects to the ICP
8) Starts MiNET services.
9) Phone operates as a regular phone.
