teleworker does not get extension

I am at a site with 5330e phones that are connected to a local 3300. I am trying to make them teleworkers to another site's 3300.

I enter the teleworker settings into the phone.

The phone connects to our MGB and downloads firmware, etc, but stops with "Use Hold key to send PIN" If I enter ***(ext)Hold, it says "resetting" and goes back to the prompt for the extension.

If I set the MAC address in the phone system, the phone boots up but stops with "waiting for COMMS..."

On the MGB, I can see the phone's MAC address but there is no extension

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Make sure that the MAC address is relevant to the extension number in the remote 3300. They are programmed on the remote 3300 yes?

It turned out that I had the set type wrong. Almost all the other phones in my company are 5330e IP phones - but this office had 5330 IP phones. When I changed the set type in the users' settings everything went fine.
