Teleworker & Office Phone Ringing

Mitel 3300 IPC & 5330 IP Phones.

Is it possible to set up two phones to ring at the same time? One that is a teleworker and 1 phone that is in the office. We have a teleworker that wants to have two phones 1 home 1 office to ring at the same time. Two different extension numbers

I was thinking about putting them in the same ring group. Will this work? If not how can it be done?

To maintain VM integration I would not recommend Ring Groups. Simplest method is to put a Key System Line appearance of the desk set on the TW for the ringing. Add to that a MWI key for VM and you're good to go.

Personal ring groups can be used.

Try Suite Services. This lets you have multiple phones ring when the Suite pilot number is dialed.

Four options:

Personal ring groups if you are MCD 4

Suite services if the limitations of suite services work in your enviroment (read up on the feature ).

Key appearance of desk set on teleworker.

Or do what I do, use hotdesk if you have the user licenses. I log in my desk phone when I get to the office and then log in to my teleworker when at home. That way all my key appearances and call history follow me. I don't need both telephones ringing at once since I can't be in two places at once ( at least not yet ).

Mobile extension would be able to do this if you have the license, enabling you to twin the sets.

But in all honesty, I'd go with kwbmitels idea of making one a key system.
