When I try to access Telephony services on a 3.6 BCM 400 I get the following Error Message. " Telephony programing not available. A connection to the MSC has not been established. Please try again later. I have not rebooted the KSU yet in hopes of another solution. Any suggestions?

Are the 10 LED's on the front left side flashing? If so power down and pullout the (BFT) the bottom shelf and look at the Caps, are they GREEN (BAD) or are they BLUE (GOOD)?

If there GREEN you will need to get your Vendor to replace it for you though Nortel, The BFT is free but the Vendor may charge for labor.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Or if the lights are correct I can remember but go to where the services are and stop and start the Voice services.

Rebooting the system will restore access but it's much quicker to just restart the Voice Management Subsystem service under Diagnostics/Service Manager. It only takes a few seconds.

When upgradinga a BCM 400 from 3.6.to 4.0 I receive error message " Not enough disk space" after system check. Any suggestions?
