Hi all!

We have recently upgraded from OTM 2.2 to Telephony Manager 3. We did not do an upgrade but a fresh install on a brand new machine.

After a lot of faffing around we have most things working bar now when we transmit a change to the switch it moans about the CND names.

"Could not be CHGed after 2 tries.
Prompt: CPND Response: NEW Error Code: SCH2116
(SCH2116) CPND name already exists.
"

After this change, it appears that some changes work, such as RNPG or NCOS changes but name changes will not.
As a result anything transmitted to the switch stays in a 'Change' state.

Would running out of TN licences do this? I also gather we should of had an additional key code to compensate for the branch office we have for one of our sites.

Thanks for any help,

Chris

Hi, just 3.0.888.

We are trying to get the 3.1 upgrade but this appears a chargable release.

3.0 seems very beta from what I've gathered......

Erm, Fixed cheers!

The patches went missing after a repair we had to do from the CD install!

Put all patches back on and all working. Cured the licence problem too!

Just a quick question - What's the Operating System you are using Windows 2000, 2003 or XP with your new TM3.0 installation

Cheers!!

Came in last night to do some soak testing - all still ok!

Had several outstanding changes to update and these worked.
Result!

I have Telephony Manager 3.1 with Win2k3 Standard Edition. I need to do a windows security update and install Mcafee Client for AV as a standard security for my company. But I am afraid that it may crash the TM server.

Any input about this?

Has anyone gotten TM 3.0 or TM 3.1 to display the add on modules to the 2XXX or 390X phones. Since we have been unable to view the add on, we also can not change any of the keys using TM.

Has anyone tried using MerAssistant or the PhoneMaster product?

I just upgraded to 3.1, and I can see (and change) the keys on 2 add on modules on an i2004.

Running TM 3.1 with SU1e on W2003 Enterprise

As posted by someone in another forum, just make AOM 2 instead of 1.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
