How to do conferencing on a 3300ICP with a 5302 phone. This is from the Help Files:

I am assuming that you have a 3300ICP, please say if you do not

To form a Conference when a two-party call is already in place, or to add another party to an existing Conference:

Press Flash or flash the switchhook.

Dial the number of the next party.

Wait for an answer.

Press Flash or Flash the switchhook.

Dial the Conference Call Feature Access Code.

To Leave a Conference:

Hang up.

Is this how you are attempting to do conferencing? Do you have a Feature Access Code for Conferencing?

By the same procedure you should be able to build up to an 8 party conference (you plus 7 others) and depending on your system config settings and max number of trunks allowed in conference. But if all is set correct you should be able to do it.

1. Call first party (wait for answer)
2. press flash (get dial tone)
3. dial next party (wait for answer)
4. press flash (get dial tone)
5. dial Conference feature code

Repeat steps 2-3-4-5 to add additional parties (7 total plus yourself)

If you reach a busy or are unable to reach one of the partys, press FLASH then dial Pound-Zero (#-0) to return to your previous party (or group)

Occam's Razor - All things being equal, the simplest solution is the right one.

yes i already done that but the problem is when i want to dial de feture acces code for conference the system mantinance one of the calls whit the music hold and the other give a busy tone and dosen't make the conference otherwise, the telephone 3902 when i dial de feature acces code, all the lets turn off just like i hang up the telephone.and the others extension maintanance one whit busy tone and the other whit music hold . its too strange.

If someone could hepl me i will please.

what feature access code are you using, what digits?

you can't use # in any of your feature access codes. I'm thinking that you're probably not conferencing cause the phone is not passing the feature access code because you're using a #??

If you are using #, then I'm pretty sure you can go into the system options and enable the option "Disable End of Dial Character (#)" By setting to yes, you can dial extra digits after the #.

hi paterson on the 5302 phones the hash End of dial resides on the phone itself and has nothing to do with the system.

in fact it's more send digits than end of dial if that makes any sense. on other sip phones you usually have a dial button or send button. you would press one of these to dial the actual number. The # on the 5302 is THAT button

kinda like your cell. you'll key in the number and press dial.

You can't turn this off on the 5302. helpfiles also clearly state this.
