Hello all...I've read the threads regarding pri's...telepacific...and such. This pri was working fine three days ago, now it's not. Made Telepacific change their protocol to att custom and we are still getting the pri service time out code 7001 and pri service state inconsistant error. What the heck! I have even brought out a new carrier, processor and 100DCD and programmed the pri in that, still same issues. On site now, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have them reboot (bring D channel down and then back up) - and then you follow suit. Make really sure that whatever switch type they are emulating and the protocol is compatible. It should be either 5ESS with AT&T Custom - OR - DMS 100 with NI-1. The 5ESS with AT&T Custom is preferred.

Also - go into maintenance and delete all of the permanent and transient errors (before the reboot - on your end).

they brought down the d and i i rebooted, still nothing. Cant call in on did's can't dial out.

Although they swore up and down that they are a 5ess switch, att custom, changing my switch type to dms-100 took care of it. Go figure. Thanks for the responses.

That's because the carrier (Telepacific in this case), STILL doesn't know how to set up a PRI correctly for a magix.

It is probably a dms100 emulating 5ess. I have seen other carriers do this.
