3300 ICP release 9.0 with Cetis/Telematrix SIP guest 3300IP and 9600. Guest phones will lose registration and require reboot of phones in the guest room. TFTP server is also located on the InnLinne IP voicemail. Has anyone got these phones to be stable on Highr releases of MCD such as 7.0. We are recommending the customer upgrade their system but I don't think that the MCD upgrade wiregistration willll resolve the SIP phone issues.

Hello Hawaii50
We are also facing the same issue with the Telematrix 9600 units.... Phones get reset without warning and we have to reconfigure everything. On average we have to re-configure around 10 phones per week.... have you found a solution to this issue?

We resolved this issue several months ago. I'll capture the configuration for you and post it later this afternoon.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not to suppose very hard.

thank you for the config file. I am reviewing the file. you mentioned time and date setting. The config file shows the use of SNTP server. Do you mean you had to go to the physical phones and correct the date and time. Besides the time what change did you have to make to the config file that was different from your oriinal? I am comparing it to my current config file that we have for the customer. I noticed that your SNTP timeout is 21600. My current config is 60. Is that the change that you performed?

We browsed to each phone to set the time and date. The config file was a collaboration between us and Cetis/Telematrix engineers. The whole process took a couple of months to resolve but we have had the phones running without incident for over 8 months now on a 3300 running Rel 6.0 SP3

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

Thanks for the info. We configured SNTP in all the phones, however the issue still persists :(
We experienced the issue today where about 5 phones reset to 0.0.0.0 IP (All the phones had static IP). Any improvement from your end Hawaii50?

We got a new firmware (1.8.7)from Cetis and it seems to have fixed the issue. We are still testing it (this is the 3rd week, without any issue).

Will test is thoroughly and confirm.

Anyway, I have attached the firmware 1.8.7. You can give it a shot.

cheers...

what release is your controller running? I have not deploied the firmware yet. Customer has been a little gun shy about trying things. I'll load it in my lab first.

does the same firmware run on 3300IP model and 9600 model. I have a test phone from the customer and it is Version: 3300TRMSIP V1.8.92-605. the current release seems to be higher than the one posted
