Howdy!

We have OTM running and im not sure if this Telecom Billing System is apart of OTM but we have weekly reports and monthly reports that get sent to someone here. The person who left didnt tell me anything about this reporting system and I found that its not sending the reports anymore. Its getting a Error of:

Runtime Error '9':
Subscript out of Range

Any thoughts?

Where are you getting this error?????

On the OTM, The PBX, Where?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

OTM Telecom billing has an issue with the max DB entries, you have to purge the database before it gets to over 1,000,000 records. You should get a vendor to show you how to deal with Telecom billing.

I found this error on the computer that runs OTM and connects to the phone switch.

Im waiting for a vendor to call back.

Unfortunalty, OTM's telecom billing is not the best, and you have to maintain it, if you let the CDR records build up then it has problems. Best is to backup up(CDR records), purge (so you don't have millions of records) and Re-Cost the left over ones. But I highly suggest a Vendor especialy if CDR records are important to you.....

This does not mean that your Telecom Billing is the issue right off the bat, it could be the CDR as well, but if you have your vendor look at the RAW CDR files in the DATABASE then they can determine the problem.

Good luck.

How I solved the problem.

Within OTMs Billing System I went into the Call Database. We had over 290,000 records and dated back to 1/7/2007. I could only delete about 10,000 records at a time. I stopped deleting when I hit 2008. Since then the Billing has sent the reports with out that error.

Thanks!
