Currently, I am working on a Elite 192 with Teleco VMS(4). I can not connect to VMS with CoSession. The setting is 19200, eight, 1, and n. Trying to play around the dip switch on the top of the VMS card is no used. The card is always booting up in service. The BCLR is always flashing green. Does any one have any idea how to communicate with the VMS?

not knowing the system in question but knowing Nec Voice mails, Might I suggest dialling into it (if you have a modem set up) is by far and away the best way of talking to an Nec Voice mail

There is a switch setting for local or remote connection. On the upper edge of the card, position 3 0f 4 on enables remote connection. Off enables local connection. If you change the setting you must reset the card. In both cases you need cosessions to connect. You might also try a slower baud rate. Try 9600 - N - 8 - 1. The local port is the bottom one (9 pin).

You need hyperterminal (I think it is the private edition). Then you will need to program macro keys to get it to work. You need the manual or call your local teleco/nec rep.

Thanks, ctvi, I used Hyperterminal and the screen showed password. I have try different password and got "I didn't understand that..."

I have work on NEC elite VMS before, but perfect voice is my first time. Will the NEC elite manual work?
