Just curious - has anyone tried interfacing their Norstar with a current telco offered Voip product like VoiceWing, Packet8, etc.?

If so, any advice?

someone has it at home ...but it doesnt make a difference, because all the norstar cares about is a loop start line/ with disconnect supervision ...maybe bellcore callerid signalling

I have a Norstar CICS 6.1 with a Vonage VoIP line.

The DS can be a little flaky at times. When some people call and leave a voice mail on the CP100 via the Vonage line, I will get a reorder for a little while after the caller hangs up.

Other than that, it works great!

For anyone interested.

Vonage from Best Buy. Worked within 4 minutes of activation.

Connected seemlessly into ICS 4 with Flash VM.

Everything works without issue.

(Disclaimer: My life is NEVER this easy ... something must be coming)
