Tek780 New toner fitted reporting 19% Life remaining!!

We have a Tek 780 printer which asked for a new magenta Toner, after fitting the new toner the magenta said 19% remaining with an install date showing 10th Jan 2005, is their any way of resetting this life remaining count or do we have a faulty toner.
