Tek 840 Error Code 08,001.44:4921

Can anyone check the manual and tell me what this error code means. I took the side off and that vacumn tube that goes up and down seems dislodged inside and doesn't move properly. Also, the maintanence drawer seems to be locked in place.

From the book: the cap-home sensor did not see the sensor's flag when expected. The home sensor may be faulty, or the paper feed motor may not be operating. The cap/wipe/purge clutch may be failing, or the assembly may be jammed and unable to move. Inspect check the paper exit drive belt and the gear on the right end of the duplex roller shaft next to the paper path motor.

It sounds as if the one of the belts has come off the cap/wipe/purge assembly, it's usually the one on the left side. The maintenance tray will be locked because the c/w/p assembly is what unlocks it when it comes down to home position.
