I have a customer who wants to purchase an IPOffice (they already have several) All is fine except they have 3 copper tie lines to their main location and they want/need to keep them.

They are 4wire E/M type 1 tie trunks.

I know the IPOffice will not support them (and they should go VoIP) but has anyone seen any solution or converter for those customers who want to stay in the dark ages??

Thanks
Jim

My suggestion is you can use a Gateway with E&M trunks in one side and H.323 Trunks in other side. A Cisco, Vanguard or any other router/gateway can achieve that task.

There are ways put IP over that [air of copper wires have a lookat the some of the RAD products if you have 4 wires 2 pair you can run IP over that. Just need the box at each end.

That way they could run their computers and voip over the copper
