TEC Event capturing

New to TEC and cannot see a quick way of "feeding" TEC data into (say) DB2/UDB.

Is there an API-type method for storing "event" data into an RDBMS ?.
 
Thanks for the wpostemsg hint.

What I assumed was an existing TIVOLI RIM facility (or even sample code) that would automatically/conditionally populate an RDBMS from Tivoli events. I assumed that Stored Procedures could be initiated from Tivoli and I soon found that the RIM redbooks were so ancient as to be useless (unless I looked in the wrong place).
