TEC 3.9 Send_Email task

Hi, experts,

I encounter a issue that I was not able to send out emails regarding to any window boxes. I have TEC 3.9 installed on a AIX box and I try to setup the send_email task if the event is match the threshold. For UNIX box, I have no problem of sending out e-mails and receiving the e-mails, but windows box. On the Tivoli desktop notice group - it shows that the tasks is been performed, but I didn't receive any e-mails regarding to the windows box. any ideas?

Is there any requirments for sending the send_email to windows platform if you have the event server installed on the UNIX platform?

I resolve this issue with a Tech support from IBM. You need to hardcode everything in your rule base. Although I was trying to avoid rule writing, it seems is the only solution for this issue. Please let me know if you have any additional ideas or comments
