I would like to connect a server with 2 1Gb NIC's to a Cisco Catlyst switch?

What configuration command's i've to made on the switch?

Hi,

It depends on what kind of teaming your using. Most HP server here support both nics live, or fail on Fault. If both nics are live, 1 sends data and the other receives... it does this magic with Mac addresses

However if your talking about using both nics as one channel, then you need to configure Etherchannle on your switch to bundle ports into 1 logical channel. Most modern switches support this automatically via PaGP or LACP if my memory serves me right... however it best to switch this feature off and configure you channel manualy....

check out...

You can do Etherchannel (fast or gigabit) or any of the standby teaming configurations.
