I have a Teac W54e CDR/CDRW USB drive which i am attaching to a Windows XP laptop. The laptop is a part of a Windows 2000 Network that automatically sets up an F:\ Drive which maps to the files directory on the server. If i startup the laptop with the cdr plugged in it takes over the f drive. If i plug in the device after it has booted up it will not appear in windows explorer as i assume it still wants to be the f:\drive. if i plug in an iomega zip drive when not connected to the network the iomega takes the f drive and then i can plug in the cdr and and it will map to e:. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
