Am having a problem with a a TDE200 & TVM50. We are using auto attendant & custom service menus which work fine. When a caller transfers to a voicemail box from the Auto Attendant or from calling externally on a DDI the system works fine. However an internal to internal[\b] call the call does not go to voicemail if busy or no answer, it rings and then bounces back to the extension.

Any ideas?

You either intercept to VM from programming both internal and external calls, or you dial *710x (the 1 being for both internal and external calls) 500 (or whatever the VM ext is) and #. The x is the standard 2/3/4/5 for ALL/BUSY/NA/BUSY-NA. After you do that, your FWD/DND light will light...probably solid.

I am using the Intercept funtion in the TDE programming using the system timer (set to 0). The system time is set to 15s. Have noticed in the TVM50 under System Parameters>Parameters>Dialling Paramters that Call Transfer No Answer Time is set to 20.

I don't understand why all is working fine when the call is external or comes through the AA, yet in internal to internal the voicemail does not kick in??

the voicemail knows what to do with that call the tde does not you have to fwd internal calls to voicemail foe ext calls on each ext ...

you can try ext intercept destination but don't if follow on id works....

Look under CO & Incoming Call>Miscellaneous

There is an option for Intercept Routing for Extension Call.

Could be that its disabled, if so internal calls will just ring

Hi TelcoAdy,

Was a good tip, but it was enabled. Seem to be hitting a dead end, am going to have to send the config files for the TDE & TVM off to Panasonic.

Any further ideas? Getting a bit desperate. One further bit of info is that when you ring the internal to internal, or do an internal transfer it rings for a certain amount of time and then comes back to the extension that the call was made from.

Thanks

all you have to do is fwd ext calls busy/no answer to 500

yes thats normal if you don't fwd b/na internal and external calls at each ext to fdn 500 you will be on no answer or transfer recall timer and you will ring back to originator

this question has been answered a couple of times in this post.

in most cases using the consol extension forward settings to forward an extension to the voice mail system will not work.

and as stated above simply go to a handset ,
off Hook
dial *7105500#
hangup

now from another extension ring the forwarded extension

did it go to V/Mail ?

The intercept programming on the TDE will allow fwding of calls to VM.

Are you sure the Intecept IRNA timer has been dropped as in default its 40 secs.

TVM are set to do an assisted transfer by default so would pull the call back to the mailbox on no answer, but an unannounced internal call would recall to the person who transfered the call if the transfer recall timer is less than the intercept timer

ok what if the called parties phone is set to auto answer intercom?
