Hello,
I have a customer wusing TDE-100 with a 23 Channel PRI and 36 phones.
They are currently running 2 companies out of the same phone system. From 8am to 5pm is one company, but then from 6pm to 2am the office becomes an after-hours clinic.
I set it up so that in day mode it rings the main company's phone number and the after-hours calls go to voice-mail. In night mode that switches so the main number goes to voice-mail and the after-hours phones ring. However they are using the same physical phones as Ext 201 is the reception phone for both the Clinic and the main company.

The problem they are having is that no matter who makes an outbound call, it is showing the CLIP ID of the Main company.

Is there any way to make it so during day mode it uses 1 CLIP ID and during the night uses a Different CLIP ID?

You can do clip Id per extension which can send the clip when a extension dials out. For different time modes you will meet go use tenent settings

The problem is that the different tenants use the same physical phones. Ext 201 is the main reception as well as the tenant extension. The extension number does not change, just the user changes.
I was hoping for a method which would automatically change the CLIP ID depending on what time mode (night or day).

What I've ended up doing is creating ICD group buttons on their sets. ICD-610 for the Clinic and ICD-611 for the Main Group.
They are labelled as Main Line and Clinic Line. I've attached the respective CLIP ID to the respective ICD Group.

This way they push the line (ICD group) button they want to use and then dial 9 for outside, it gives the correct CLIP ID.

yep that is the only way unless you do hot desk, give them a walking extension which they dial *727 ext no and pin. This can be put on a one touch key
this will become that extension with clip id set and anything else you need.

use dxdp ports to setup their extension and they just enter code and it is their extension with different voicemail if needed
