TDE 200 Networked with NCP 500

Hey Guys,

I just installed a TDE 200 at the main location and a NCP 500 at a remote location.

I am using the V-IPGW Trunks.

We have a managed network between locations. We setup Vlan and QoS.

But for some reason we are getting drop calls. No pattern, some drop 7-8 min some after 10.

Panasonic tech support said it is not the equipment.

Any ideals how I can work with the IT tech to prove that.

The IT guy has assured me that all the ports I requested to be open are open.

It should be a VPN, so all ports will be open between systems.

if you run a ping test from one site to the system address on other site using ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -t does it reply at a regular rate.

Make sure the co-co timer for trunk group of gateway trunks is set to none
 
WE are are using a point to point managed 20 meg up 20 meg down fiber connection through the local cable provider. We are not on the internet.

COS for that trunk has CO-CO Call Duration Limit set to disable. I also set the timer to none.

I will run the ping test today. I can ping from system to system using the standard PING and it returns within 3ms. No packets lost

Minimum = 3ms, Maximum = 15ms, Average = 3ms

 
That sounds good. What is showing in the error log for minor errors
 
Error logs are empty at both locations.
 
UDP

A) 1719 and 1720
B) 5004 through 5006.
C) 5060.
D) 5061.
E) 8000 through 8034.
F) 16384 through 16482.
