Hi everybody, I'm facing a trouble and I've done something that worked but seem to be impossible if I look on Panasonic PSU type chart. One of my Customer had a power supply problem on his TDE-100. The original part was a PSU-M. In the rush I've took the only PSU I had in my inventory and replaced the part. After everything went back up I've took a look at the Type of PSU and my new one was a PSU-L. Anybody know if it will cause any problem in the system? Is the backplane design of the TDE-100 can support the power output of the PSU-L? I don't see any alarm in the logs and everything seem to work A1. Afterward I've calculate the power factors of the client devices and seen that the PSU-M isn't powerful enough to power all the devices. Here is the device list:
1 DHLC8 Card Power factor: 8
36 KX-DT343/346 Power factor: 4X36 = 144
3 VoiceMail ports Power factor: 1X3 = 3
2 Cell station Power factor: 4X2 = 8
For a total of 163 Power units
PSU-M is rated for 128 power units and PSU-L is rated for 512...
So I kinda need a PSU-L to power everything.
Am I right in my calculations?
