Currently working with a TDA30. It has 4 analogue trunks and I'd like to configure it so that all trunks are available for outgoing calls but 1 of the trunks should be used only as a last resort when the other 3 are in use. I'm guessing this is done by assigning different trunk groups but could anyone give me a few pointers in how I set this up properly?

Thanks!

very easy take what ever line that you want to use as last resort and plug it into co 04 jack!

You can even program outgoing preferred lines in order of preference through programming.

You are correct. Put that line in group 2 then if using 9 to dial out it will be last to be given out

i am assuming that rap does not know how to put a line into a diff tg!!

I know how to put it into a different tg, but I wasn't sure if it automatically moved through the tg list looking for an available line or whether I had to program it to do that.

cwc3 I guess your tip about using the last co jack should have been obvious but it never occurred to me that it would be that simple.

Thanks for all your quick responses!
