TDA won't forward outside

Hello...

One of our sites has a TDA-200 (connected to a TDE-600 switch). The "Day" custom service works fine, but when any of the keys are set to transfer to an outside number, the system loops back to the main greeting again. I also created a portable station extension (4400) and set the busy to go to the outside number (91800xxxxxxx), and it still won't work. I also set it to FWD ALWAYS, and still nothing. And yes, the extension has the proper COS.

Oddly, if I dial ext 4400 while the greeting is playing, the call transfers out without a hitch.

Any ideas??

first if you point a touchtone press from a custom dialing menu to transfer to ext 4400 instead of
a transfer to co function does the call go through ?if yes are voicemail exts in a cos that allows fwd to co?

No, the call won't go through. It WILL go through if I dial 4400 during the announcement, though. But not if I make it a touchtone option.

I had this before and had to setup a group with 1 extension in it, it can be set to no ring with no answer to intercept to the ext 4400
it will ring for 10 seconds then go to mobile. you may have to set transfer to extension in voicemail to fxd

I set up a portable station extension 4401 with call party busy destination of 91800xxxxxxx.
Then I made a call dist group of 4400 with only one member (ext 4401).
I set the group and member to no-ring.

I then set the custom service menu up so that option 1 transfers to extension 4400.

I also changed SYSTEM PARAMETER > PARAMETERS > PBX PARAMETERS > PBX ENVIRONMENT ... Extension Transfer Sequence and Alternate Extension Tranfer Sequence from FX to FXD.

You have to use a real extension in the group and have the group intercept to external number on no answer with 10 sec delay. That is the downfall the phone will not fwd until 10 sec timer is over
