Hi All.
Need a little help here.
I have / need the TDA / TDE PBX unified software running on my Windows 10 machine.
Following another thread, I found the drivers suggested to be used with the Windows 10 machine, and added them in the location I created when I installed the PBXUnified software initially.
Now I can connect to my KX-TVM's fine, but when I go to connect to the TDA /TDE, I keep getting "Com port unavailable. In use by another program, even though I have nothing running. With device manager, when I plug in the USB cable, it doesn't even show up, so I can update the drivers.
To ensure that there was nothing running that I didn't know about, I SHUT DOWN the computer and restarted but I still get the same issue.
Has anyone else run into this? Have a solution?
Edit: As a note, I have tried to check using EVENT Viewer, but nothing shows up when I search for it. Since this is a corporate machine, I wonder if the people who deployed this from their ivory tower said "I don't see a reason this should be used", and didn't make it part of the ghost image they deployed.
Edit 2.0. Got it working. When the system wasn't detected, I did of course power down the system and restart it. However my computer was not connected to the system. I connected with a known good cable, powered down, powered up, and this time, it was detected. This allowed me to download the new drivers and connect. Hope this helps someone else or me, when I forget.
Regards
