Hello, Our company has a TDA 100 system and I am unable to print key labels showing the persons 'name' for system phones programmable keys (or DSS modules). I think the problem is I cannot pick a 'SYSTEM Speed Dial' number from a drop-down list (one-touch, etc) to be programmed into these keys, someone previous to me has entered telephone numbers manually and while the software does display names when key-label names are selected in the software, when I continue to the print options only numbers appear. I have screen shots but can't find how to attach them!!
Can you help please? Tony

You have to enter names in extension settings and then program keys as des not one touch buttons

Hi, thanks for the reply, but I understand that you enter names in extension settings for extension users, but we have more staff (90 odd) on the road with cell phones etc. I want the one touch buttons to connect to their cell phones. Any more clues?

if you want to use one touch buttons and name them on the buttons, you click on the button key settings and label name.
you can edit what is on the buttons there

Do I have to do this for every phone and every DSS module???? Surely I can link a button to the 'SYSTEM speed dial'

if all extensions \ are the same button arrangement you can do one of each and copy buttons to the rest
There is no button that will link to speed dial and take the name from that list

Thats part of the problem, all extensions have different button arrangements for different departments so you solution can be a fix but not ideal.

you could set up a ps in configuration-slot- portable station( does not hav to be registered) and then fwd that extension to a moblie. name that ps and then add that extension to a dss or phone button as a DSS button, it will pull the name from that and if pressed will call the moblie

you will still have to set up all those ps and fwd, but adding to a button on loads of phones and dss is easier

other thing is do it in batch mode set up the system and add their extension or set ps with a name and generate labels
save as a file for future use

Again this is the long-way-round, Is there no way to link the button on the phone to the system speed dial slot?? this seems silly!!
