TDA 30 DXDP problem

Hello All
I have a problem I wonder if you can help
I need to use DXDP on a tda 30 ,
On the slave phone T7633 the display comes up ,I can ring out to another extension from it and I can ring in to the slave.The master phone is a T7633 as well
However I have no dial tone on the handset or using the speaker key
The same phone plugged directly into a port on the tda 30 works fine
Under port property the phone shows as DPT (40V) and xdp mode is on
I am using 4 wire cord from tda30 to master phone and to the slave

have you tried it on other ports as a dxdp, if so is it the same

Yes I tried it on different ports on the DHLC slot ,same result no dial tone
I have since found that a DT333 connected as a slave works fine!!

For info
DXDP wont work if there is a usb module in either the master or the slave
