Hi all,

I am new for the Panasonic systems. In TDA 100D I need to give password for some extensions.Kindly tell me the steps and also before enter the password what code should I use?
Regards,
Hari

On the Maintenance console,go to feature the verification code.

Have a PC Programming manual by your side if not familiar

And you are able to connect?,then On the Maintenance console,go to feature then verification code.

I am able to connect.Suppose If I put verification code as 1234 then do I need to change COS settings on extension? And what feature code should I use in the SL phone?

ok.
Next thing is one extension need to block mobile access.I gave COS 2.Its working fine he cannt call mobile. He needs to call mobile by using password. Could you plaese explain the procedure?

Do you have ARS set up?.

Are other people/Extensions on class of service 2 (COS2)able to call mobile?

No I donn't have ARS.
Other people with (COS2) no need to call Mobile. They also need with password only.

Did you do initial configuration urself?

Put the ext you want to call mobile in a different class of service and permit/allow that class of service to call.

Send me that file and i have a look at it.

Go to Utility File transfer PBX (SD Card) to PC(B)

In the list select DSYS and save.Send me that file i will

guide you.

Thanks a lot Otoni79,
I did initial configuration. This is only one pending.I have Nortel BCM and MICS experience. So if you tell the steps I can easily manage.
Is this related to Veryfied code?

On the system menu, go to

System

Class of Service then

External call block.

Let me know when you are there.

Am still online.

Check the class of service number against the trunk number u want that extension to call out.Is it "BLUE" -Blocked?.

If yes, that is the reason that extension can't call mobile.
But removing BLUE enables everybody in that class of service to be able to call out.

So the ideal thing to do is put that extension in a different class of service ALONE and give it the permission to call out.

Satisfied?

Thanks a lot.

How can I give password to make calls.

Go feature

See verification code column and

You have to now to go and change option to forced. The guide is above.

1.5.4.3 Account Code Entry
Description
An account code is used to identify outgoing trunk calls for accounting and billing purposes. The account code
is appended to the SMDR call record. If, for example, a firm uses an account code for each client, the firm can
determine what calls were made for the client, and can submit a bill to the client according to the client’s account
code on the SMDR call record.
There are two methods of entering account codes as follows:
One of the methods is selected for each extension on a COS basis.
Mode Description
Option A user can enter an account code if needed at any time desired.
Forced A user must always enter an account code before seizing a trunk.
Conditions
• An account code can be stored into Memory Dialling (e.g., One-touch Dialling).
• Account Button
A flexible button can be customised as the Account button. The Account button is used in place of the
feature number for entering an account code. This button is useful because it can be used at any time,
while feature number entry is allowed only when hearing a dial tone before seizing a trunk.
• Extension users can enter an account code at any time during a call, including after the call has been
disconnected and a reorder tone is heard. However, if an account code is entered after there is no longer
a reorder tone, the call will not be stored in the SMDR record.
• If more than one account code is entered, the code entered last is printed out on SMDR.
• Even in Forced mode, emergency numbers can be dialled out without an account code. (®
1.5.4.2 Emergency Call)
• PT users can also enter an account code for incoming trunk calls during a conversation.
• Verification Code Entry
To identify who made a trunk call for accounting and billing purposes, a verification code is used. This code
can be used at any extension. (® 1.9.6 Verification Code Entry)

Thanks a lot for your great help.I did it by using Verification Code. Now everything is ok.
