hi,
I have a panasonic KX TDA 100D PBX with one line card which support 24 incoming line, and an 8 port analogue trunk card. The problem is when ever the call is transferd from the reception phone which is a digital one to a normal proprietary phone . The normal phone will ring and the user can pickup, but when the receptionist puts her receiever on hook, the whole call is ending. I dont know why. anybody please help me

When you say normal proprietary phone. What model is it
How does the reception transfer the call transfer or hold

sounds to me 2 that she using wrong button to "transfer" the call

a> 2 dots whit an broken (up) line between = hold
b> 2 dots whit an bow arrow between them = transfer

normaly whenn u push the (b) button and hangs up the call its an blind transfer

but u use and trunk card to ring an anologe phone? or yust an SLC card (for analoge phones)
if so i dont know at the analoge trunk cards, but at ISDN cards u can set an switch to make it an extension number.

cheers

thank you guys for your time, i solved the problem . There wasn't any complicated configurations in the PBX, so i just rested the pbx and reconfigured it , now its working perfectly.
Now i have new doubt
i have configure one SLT phone like when ever an out going call is made through that phone it should use a definite trunk line other than picking up any free trunk line

Multiple thinks:
10.1 CO Line Settings

What trunk group Numbers each line has ( or multiple lines has)

3.1.1 TRG Settings
define Group name per trunk group ext

3.1.2 Local Access priority
Difene what the order to pick the trunk group is

2.7.1 COS Settings
What COS the user is in ( In 4.1.1 )

2.7.2 External Call Block
what COS may use what Trunk

so its an sum up of some foactors what is allawed and what not

other way = after difining trunk groups
use an hot dail pickup on the trunk
example that phone only trunk 1 = pickup dail set 801 / 2 = 802 ect
