one of our customers has had their passwords changed and are unable to get into it. Is their any back door passwords I can use. Or is it a DEFUALT all scenario.

are you saying they have changed the system password?

Yes. I have said system requires defaulting However I do not want to say this and this not be the case.

call tech support and they will be able to backdoor the system i'm sure!!

Try this I never use this, but I'm heared that's work. It is easy 3min job.

on programing port rs 232 conect PC with open hyperterminal, than reset system.

Look on displey because in one moment password should be on screen

yeah I wouldn't try that unless I was prepared to
re-init the system!hey whats wrong with tech support doing there gig its what they get paid for!

Easy to fix.

Pull the SD card from the system and connect it to your PC. You'll need a SD card reader by the way. Open the maintenance console and then go to file and open. Find your way to the card and open each directory that appears until you find the file named DSYS. It'll open and you can then go to the screen where you set the system password. You'll see the current password there. Put the card back in the system and connect with it and away you go....

All up about 1 minute worth of actual work.....and you don't have to call tech support.

Shardian.

Of course. This would work wouldn't it. Ahhh yeah thanks for that.
