TD1232 to TVP100 intercept routing problem 1

Hi all,
I'd like to set my phone system to intercept route to my voice mail custom service menus but seem to be having a problem when programing 409-410. The phone system routes to the tvp100 but connects directly to the general delivery mailbax to leave a message. Seems to be by passing the port 1 and port 2 setting and diverting directly to the general delivery mailbox after the assigned no. of rings in program 203.
When i use the DIL 1:1 program 407-408 all works perfectly. This would be fine but when this program is selected we don't have the opportunity to answer the phones during the day it just connects all calls directly to the TVP100 custom service menus.
Any ideas why??

when using trunk intercept, how do you have the calls ringing to the phones, through dil1:n?
if you call voice mail unit from a phone without a voicemail box what answers it, cs or general mailbox
have you all lines inone trunk group?
