Is there a way to disconnect a machine from the network that you can't connect to remotely? I have a machine that is causing network problems that no one can find so I need to get it off the network some other way.

It depends upon the network, can you identify the port on the switch (if there is a switch). If so you could disable the port or unplug the wire.
If you can't find the device, look for the connection.

You say you can not connect to it remotely, but can you ping it using IP or hostname?

If you can, download "Poweroff 3.0" (Freeware) and you can power off the PC remotely.

If you have "Hyena 5.5" software which references Active Directory. You can right-click on any computer in the computers container and chose the option "Remove from Domain" or "Shutdown"

Cheers Carl
