I wonder if anyone can help?

A few years ago I was taught how to subnet really easily, basically I was told to write out a table to work out my hosts\networks. By looking at your required hosts\networks it would let you know what subnet to work with, this was generally useful for class b and c addresses more than class a.

I have forgotten the layout for this table and wonder if anyone can help at all?
I do remember that it was quite a large table to draw and was very useful to do in the test room before the test actually started.

Anyone know what I am talking about? Give me any pointers?

Simon

Aftertaf
if its not broken, fix it anyway - with luck you might break it and have an excuse
