Here is my current setup:
Netgear MR814 wireless router, Apple Laserwriter 16/600 connected to the router via enet cable. The imac I have sees the printer just fine and I am printing to it via TCP/IP in OS10.2.
The problem is my Laptop with XP Pro. I can only print to the printer via the printer cable. I want to print via TCP/IP wireless. I have tried to create a TCP/IP port but it doesn't print. I can ping the printer from the comand prompt, but not print to it.
Any ideas?

Kevin

Thanks bcastner - worked like a charm.

Saved me hours of searching and frustration!!!

Good for you.

The two things people routinely miss:
1. You need to add a network component not installed by default;
2. I know it is a network printer, but you define it as a Local printer and specify the TCP/IP port.
