Narrative: User has a remote office that needs to connect via Internet to a Novell 4.11 [running IPX/SPX] LAN from a remote location.

Questions: What NLM can I run on the 4.11 server so I can use TCP/IP over the Internet?

This is the typical settings in the autoexec.ncf
You will naturally need to change the Network Card and IP addressing to suit your own configuration.

LOAD OC32T164 FRAME=Ethernet_II slot=3 NAME=OC32T164_1_snap
load tcpip forward=no rip=yes
BIND IP to OC32T164_1_snap addr=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX gateway=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX mask=255.255.255.0

You won't be able to login to a Netware 4.11 server over Pure IP. This can only be done with Netware5. You can setup hardware to link the offices over a vpn over the internet and then use IPX on the local LAN. Loading tcpip on the server will allow you to ping and bordermanager etc but not to login as netware 4.11 can not communicate over IP.(Only Netware IP is garbage)
