Hi

I have observed that tcp/ip stack in winxp when assigning locale ports for network applications is always increasing. The range start as low as 1000 and then it increases.

Linux local ports start from 32000. This causes less possibilty for port conflict.

How can I make WinXP work like Linux for this matter ?

Any ideas ?
